I own a canyon right now and it has been great. Was told to drive for 300 miles and if problem returns, I would need a new torque converter. They all have different quirks. First the steering there is a service bulletin number 03-08-61-002f, which more or less say's that the intermediate shaft between the column and the steering box needs to be replaced.
