I have no trouble getting parts for my machine as it is a class A based on the '77 Dodge series 500 truck chassis. Cant say that about anything else. Ask my wife, she usually follows in our 1990 Ford E150 van and has suggested at times that I slow down. An acquaintance of mine has an earlier one with a 360 and complains about too little power. You are not gonna get huge gobs more power from a 360 or a 440. The gas crisis and reliability problems with the body and appliances finished off the Escapade after the 1976 model-year.

While I personaly have questions about gas rigs, all diesels should have them. The problem we have is getting an insurance company to insure it for its replacement value. Any auto parts store will stock these, and they are not expensive or bulky, so carrying a spare is no real problem. The standard transmission with six cylinder A100, D100, and D200 except crew cab was the A250 three speed manual; with the V8, the A230 three speed manual which was also standard on W200.
