The 1973 1-ton trucks were equipped with a 240-horsepower 454 generating 355 foot-pounds of torque. The engine on this vehicle is running properly. The most common Chevy big block is the 454 cubic inch displacement engine. Man, you guys need to do a feature on the truck trends over the years. Finish these thing and you could easilly bring it to the car shows.

I talked to a Chevy Dealership and they said the Kodiak is like a silverado, but the deluxe edition. All the engine gauges work fine and the mileage is correct at 150k. The interior is a little faded but not tore up. This is what I have in this truck so I will not go any lower. Truck runs excellent and has zero drivability issues. This is a well optioned heavy duty 4x4 in an excellent color. Both tanks work and the right gas tank and fuel pump are brand new last year.
You are probably thinking the same stuff we are. In the fashion of the bodywork someone thought it would be bad ass to mount a nitrous bottle as a prop on the transmission tunnel. The interior is so delicious we want to live in it. These 454s with four-barrel carburetors developed 230 horsepower and 360 foot-pounds of torque. You may have to change the filter several times to catch all of the debris. A man has to draw a line somewhere.
