Had to give it a tune up after powerwashing the engine. Never driven more than 100 miles at a time, and it's never seen snow or salt. Please see what you guys can come up with. Center drag link wore out. But it moved us across 2 states.
I now own a newer truck and I miss the lower 4 low gears this Nissan had. I love that I'm not making a douche bag statement by driving a giant truck around, but I can still pick up whatever I need at the store and even sleep in the back if I wanted. Only one repair starter in the three and a half years I have owned the vehicle. The build is less than necessary. Instead, the driver must either put very little in the vehicle, or buy a box to put into the bed of the truck and risk having people steal it. Sadly we had to sell it a few years back due to my dad losing his job and us needing food money so. This is critical with the hot sun here.
Yes Review Date: 6th June, 2009 Faults: Clutch slave cylinder busted on the highway at 200,000. The turn radius is abysmal compared to previous trucks I have owned, such as my Dodge Dakota. The truck started right up and still went into gear and moved. New thermostat and cooling for preventive reasons. There is nothing you're going to do.
All the times police officers have ridden the bumper of my vehicle. Could not tell I was getting low on gas until the light came on. The biggest thing with these trucks is rust. General Comments: Aw man, where do I start!!! Moisture got in the ignition wires. Also, there are wires under the seat that can become disconnected if you put something under the se.
Pushed the front right tire into the fender well. Back in the day, the Japanese pickups were still an economical and convenient size for average usage. I even ran over 4 wild hogs at the same time standing in the middle of the road. If not sure whether a single rear wheel long bed truck is standard or heavy duty, the two can be differentiated by checking the 8th digit of the chassis. General Comments: This truck is a little monster. I have a ton of stuff for this truck.
There are 2 glove compartments, which is very handy to keep things organized and easily findable. Other than that, all I've done is general maintenance. This is a rock solid vehicle that is headed to 200,000 miles with all original equipment. A Sirius system came with the truck and that has come in very handy for long trips through areas where radio reception is not available. Several times I have been unable to complete a upturn or similar without more than 1 attempt - sometimes putting me in danger.
General Comments: The truck ran great. Many mini-pickup trucks these days have smal. Repairs that were made include Adjust throttle linkage, Scoped and set engine, throttle body gasket repair, timing adjusted, tune-up, new plugs, new O2 sensor, new catalytic converter, vacuum lines tested, emissions tested, and exhaust system check and fuel injector cleaning. The exterior has great lines and the interior leather is very comfortable and easy to keep clean. Amazingly, this tiny truck can fit four good-sized adult males in it, not comfortably, but legally.
V6 seems like the right amount of power, but doesn't get good mileage at all. General Comments: Best truck I ever owned that wasn't diesel. Just throw some meaty tires on it and go. General Comments: The original owner got 260,000 out of the first engine, and had a second installed when I purchased the vehicle. While the seat can be leaned forward to put items behind the driver and passenger it is too small in order to actually achieve anything. I pulled over on the side of the road to check out the damage that I was sure was going to be horrendous, but to my surprise no damage.
A little rust above the gas door. Crawled in it that Friday after the wreck. I swear the truck came up on two wheels it hit so hard. Great off road truck if not lifted. Yes Review Date: 6th February, 2011 Faults: Replaced complete exhaust from engine-back. There must be a lot of people committing crimes in these things. Several times I have been unable to complete a upturn or similar without more than 1 attempt - sometimes putting me in danger.
