Remove lower instrument panel bolt on left side of cigarette lighter. It's the cat rear monitor on bank 2, the drivers side. The problem has not been repaired and the wires have been left unplugged for now. Is that definitive or should I look at what the front axle says? Carefully pry to release 4 clips and remove steering column opening cover. I'm concerned that this could have burned my house down with me and my family in sleeping. The horn was heard blowing when the consumer noticed that the vehicle was on fire.
Disconnect both air bag diagnostic monitor connectors located behind right side of instrument panel. Researching this issue has made me aware that this is a common problem due to water leaking through the windshield and seeping into the generic electronic module and fuse box causing multiple symptoms including the ones stated above. There are apparently two versions of this axle, with the second generation being more desirable because it has longer splines on the pinion shaft, and a bigger yoke. In 1999 the light and heavy duty were separated as the regular F-250 and the F-250 Super Duty. I then noticed the smell of electrical items burning and immediately took out the key.

I would just like to point out the fact that it has happened twice to me and can cost anywhere from 200 to 1700 dollars to fix depending on how severe things are. Unless they wanted a jellybean-style truck with the absolute highest payload--because a 4. The manufacture has a recall on F150 pickups but not the F250. Thanks, mike I really need some help on this one. It can be lowered, lifted ,or stock but as long as it's a truck we want to see it.
