Nov 26, 2012 The 5 speed manual transmission in your Focus doesn't have a Dipstick, the fluid level is checked by going under the car and removing a fill plug on the side of the transmission case, you then stick your pinkie in the hole and if you can just touch the transmission lube the level is correct. You will find a yellow dipstick handle to the right of the motor, that's where you put in the trans. I don't jump it anymore. Not to mention the recalls, many recalls. Looking for a diagram but so far no luck.
