Tape everything up with some electrical tape. The maxima had the same motor housing with the notches for the circuit board. I am not sure where the 3rd motor is but when I played with the back height adjustment, the front height motor does not run. U will need to remove the drivers seat from the car, Use a screwdriver to pop off the seat adjustment knobs, the pop off the plastic cover from the seat switch. I tapped on the front motor with no luck and tried pulling the seat foward while holding the button foward. Usually, it's my believe that electrical motors don't go bad, especially ones that aren't in constant use.
Again only the right side closest to the middle will move. I seen on the front motor, the wires were taped up on the motor with a yellow piece of tape not sure if that is factory or not i pulled on the tape to free it ,as my intentions were to disconnect and re-connect the wires. If the motors are dusty, try blowing some compressed air in it, like those you find in a can for computers. I don't think its a motor issue, unless it uses independent motors on each side. I normally take a small piece of vacuum hose, split it down the middle and put over the chafed wire.
I hope it will continued to work. Funny, I was really searching on google to see if there are parts available for the power seats and I saw this thread. Then pull the new harness into place, using old harness as a pulling string. Put it in the lower hole. Also snap in hold downs on new harness. Usually members clean and then spray some silicon lube down the window tracks to make it run smoother. Or is it 1 single central motor moving the entire seat? I have seen this common problem on several Altimas.

Not sure how or why this worked, or how long it will last, but i am glad it did! We probabably move our seat back and forth maybe once or twice a week? It was looked at by different dealer and they couldn't fix it, so it end it up at my dealer ship. There are two hidden screws behind the seat material to remove. The time on the bulletin is warranty time. Electrical motors, and I'm no motor expert - i'm just speculating, are driven with magnetic fields.

Or you can go to a pick a part and find the motor grab some brushes and put them in your pocket. Step 3- disconnect the electrical harness, located under the carpet flap. Cut the wires on the old switch, cut them as close to the switch as possible as you will use the old wiring harness as pull wire for the new wiring harness tape old harness to to new harness at switch opening location and prepare for the next step. The connector is in the front of the seat, I used a hammer and screwdriver and it helped temporarily. Once it starts moving, it works normally until it is moved back towards the end of it's rearward travel.
The recline and slide didnt work at all. It is necessary to cut the seat material a small amount to access the screws and remove the switch. We use MailChimp as our marketing automation platform. I have never had the stuck problems as mentioned above, so this is probably the fix. So maybe all that's needed is that the tracks need to be cleaned and re-lubed or greased. If you use a screwdriver you have to be slightly more gentle to ensure you don't damage the motor under the seat. Step 2- loosen bolts and remove them, once loose tip the driver seat towards the back seat. . There are two phillips head screws holding the switch to the seat.
Seems like it would put too much pressure on one side, but then again, it works. And on top of that, they're short motions.
