The contact pulled over, restarted the vehicle, and the stabilitrak warning indicator illuminated. It makes it difficult to drive during the flow of traffic as the car is jerking like it will cut off. The seals must not be that great because there is a lot of moisture in them to where now I will have to replace them. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed.

Regardless if the car is on or off, the needle is always stuck on 120 mph. Then they repo it when I wqsnt late on my payemnt because I said I want it fixed sinxe it was sols that way or I will file a compalint. The vehicle was repaired and the failure continued to occur. Alot a good that did, we had it 3 months before problems started. After searching online I have found numerous complaints concerning this same problem and have gotten info that it was due to faulty motor in the instrument cluster panel. So I didn't take mine to a dealer since it seemed pointless.
If accident did occur and air bag did not deploy could be fatal. When I'm on the highway doing 55 mph, it bounces between 90 to 120 mph. Unfortunately, it usually happens when on the highway or after hours. I really feel like I purchased a lemon and even gave my dealer a copy of the texas lemon law, I do not feel comfortable taking even short length road trips for fear my car will fail to run properly. I took a couple of pictures to support what I am writing. Numerous equinox owners have had the same issue but chevy hasn't fixed the problem or issued a recall.
The vehicle was not repaired. I have brought in to the dealership numerous times and they cannot find anything wrong with it. This is a safety issue as I would not be able to get to the other side of the car in order to get out. When I do use the remote to lock the vehicle, the back doors will unlock. You are not purchasing a part. I read a few years in the equinox forum at edmunds. If I try to unlock, the back doors remain locked. The contact could not get the key out of the ignition and the failure continued to occur intermittently on multiple occasions.

Things work fine when it is cold. When I do use the remote to lock the vehicle, the back doors will unlock. Then I could understand of course, but not when it's the same car, and model, that they recalled!!! Also the key keeps getting stuck in the ignition I think this is very unsafe along with the airbag. When turn off my ignition, occasionally I must wait up to a minute for the ignition to release the key. This is a big safety hazard.
The contact took the vehicle to two certified mechanics who stated that the speedometer motor needed to be replaced; however, the exact failure was not able to be properly identified. Looks like this is the same issue from the 2007 recall, but not extended to 2008. This last time, I spent about five seconds trying to brake, feeling the accelerator still pushing the car forward. Since having it, I've replaced the tire valve sensors broke again. It's some issue with the shifter. The driver side window has completely stopped working. The contact was not sure if the brakes responded or if the vehicle was stopped by the brakes.
