The vehicle was not repaired. Anyone else have any problems like this? Added dye and recharged with 2. All in all, this is a fantastic mini-van. After reconnecting the battery, still not dash lights. Making several stops can cause the battery to be discharged to the point it will not restart the engine. It just does not register the park position properly. This has been an ongoing issue.
At that point we were told that brake pads, etc were within normal limits. Dealer made me replace all cooling system hoses and pipes for engine cooling system. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. He told me to drop by at the dealership when I noticed the sound occurring. Occasionally it lights up for a few seconds when the engine is first started.

Drove the van around, did not come on. I read that several people having intermittent electrical probs have had to replace the drivers door wiring harness, and that fixed their problem. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall remedy. The speedometer and guages work, but nothing that lights up. I called the customer assistance line and the person who took my report, told me that chrysler is aware of this problem and has just completed a complete re-design on the components. About a year ago this happened and then stopped. Programming problem which has to be fixed by Chrysler. Try to repair several times, still have rattle. It has every possible feature available and even things I would never have thought of! I encourage you to test drive one for yourself and see what I found out the hard way - Chrysler can make a great product! To top it off the salesman wanted me to start doing paperwork before even seing the truck. Rear brakes and rotors had to be replaced at 23,000 miles and now 31000. How can it be on just fine, parked for 2 hours, and then off? It's getting worse and starting to make noise even when the brakes are not in use.
