Supercharged fuel pressure can see about 1 psi above 45psi for every lb of boost the engines sees. Ask them and they should be able to help you find it. Clamp the hose to the pump with the supplied stainless steel clamp. The tank uses these alignment tabs. The only tool needed is a short flat tipped screwdriver.
Reconnect the hoses and electrical connector then tighten the support strap bolts that hold the tank in place. We provide incredibly reasonable prices on quality parts. Normally aspirated engines will see about 45psi max of fuel pressure. Install the pump assembly back into the fuel tank using the new gasket. Then use a screw driver and move the retaining ring to the position for it to come out. Take care not to deform the fuel tank or fuel tank support straps.
Crawl underneath the vehicle from the driver's side. . Let it idle until it stalls, and then crank the engine for about 5 seconds to make sure the pressure was released. As the charts show the individual pump flow data you need to know before selecting the proper size fuel pump for your application. Faulty auto parts can either decrease the driving quality or impair the overall efficiency of your car or truck, contributing to increased gasoline consumption, inferior overall performance, or greater exposure to unexpected automobile or component breakdown. The fuel is then sent to the fuel injector before it flows into the engine.
You actually have to remove the fuel tank first to get to it. I recomend blowing off any and all dirt from the top of the tank before you remove the ring or the pump, so that it does not fall into the tank. These fuel filters are less costly and work just as well, if not better than a stock fuel filter. Drain the fuel into a container. If you don't have good fuel pressure then you'll have determined it is a fuel delivery issue. The plastic baffle that connects between the pump and fuel pump hard line is another common failure resulting in fuel rail line pressure loss.
Fuel Pump Diagnosis: If your fuel pump stops working no noise, no line pressure , the first thing that should be checked is the pump's voltage supply and electrical connections. Connect the power to the pump. Raise the Tracer's front end with a floor jack and support it on jack stands.
