They know the Cobra is not alone and that they must fight his army of ninjas before they will get a chance to take him out. I am a fan of the first two, but I was really disgusted with American Ninja 3. While still no fan of the series, I can't say this one is worse than any of the other additions, and I'm glad it exists for getting David Bradley the chance to perform in bigger and better movies. Story-wise, the movie is serviceable but not any stronger than the ones that came before it. While Michael Dudikoff initiated the series as an actor masquerading as a martial artist, David Bradley enters scene as a martial artist masquerading as an actor. In the film, Sean Davidson David Bradley , also known as The American Ninja, is partnered up with his buddies, Curtis Jackson Steve James and Dexter Evan J.
Probably the biggest dramatic drawback of the movie is Evan Klisser , who gives an okay performance but whose sidekick role was completely unnecessary and just wastes time. Unfortunately, the trio is also being targeted by a known terrorist, the Cobra Marjoe Gartner. Few folks can deny that Bradley's physical performances blatantly outstrip Dudikoff's, but while Dudikoff may be accused of showing too little human emotion in his acting, Bradley almost definitely shows too much. The backstory's setup of how Sean lost his father to the hands of main henchman Yehuda Efroni is incredibly forced, and later, Sean and Curtis buddy up a bit too quickly to seem legitimate, especially when remembering how long it took the latter to become friends with Joe Armstrong in the first movie. Most seriously, David Bradley only wears the iconic ninja suit for about a minute and then doesn't fight in it. Maybe I'm simply missing what many people consider so awful about this one, but I can only recommend it.
