He beat the man severely and threw him out of the apartment, and proceeded to kill his wife. A team of parapsychologists sets out to investigate a series of anomalous phenomena taking place in a newly occupied apartment. The movie is set in a third-person perspective, through the lens of a camera. While the team of parapsychologists sets up their equipment, very strange events begin happening inside the apartment that cause chaos among everyone inside. Needless to say, the father snapped.
As time goes on, a female within the psychologists group proposes an idea that the father may have done something wrong to the wife, something terribly wrong. While the parapsychologists chalk up the situation to be simply a form of schizophrenia, they take all of their equipment and leave the building. The camera then looks straight to the ceiling by itself, and the dead mother's haunting crawls up to the camera swiftly with her head turned all the way around. Apartment 143 is a movie that follows the struggling life of a man and his two children while they are haunted by what they believe to be their dead mother and wife. During his wife's sickness, she was supposedly a wicked human being.
The father is sat down in front of multiple cameras and asked simple questions until he eventually breaks down and admits the truth. As they leave, the viewer is left staring through a lone camera the psychologists decided to leave up. One day after work, the father came home and found his sick wife cheating on him with another man in bed. . A team of parapsychologists visit the family in their apartment to attempt to rule out any explanations for the strange noises and events happening within their household.
Telephone calls with no caller, mysterious shadows, extraordinary light emissions, flying objects, and exploding light bulbs are some of the events they will face while recording their every step with state-of-the-art technology. She had no remorse for anything she did, she did not take care of the kids, and would leave the house without a single word. The father goes on to explain that he had to take care of the kids and work full-time because his wife lost her teaching position due to her sickness. . .
