I am tossed primarily because of the rechargeable batteries. This way, I figured that I could try the wireless keypad and if need be I could use it with a Kensington numeric keypad that I have left over. Unless there is something i'm missing with the Magic Keyboard, I'd take my K811 every day. This is true whether you use your mouse directly on the hard, flat surface of a desk or table, or if you use a softer surface like a mousepad or a tablecloth. There are also multimedia shortcut keys, which provide you with quick control for playback and volume. I went to my local reseller and they said nothing about freebies, and you can actually get free Magic TrackPad? That's a pretty darn big price increase for a peripheral for your Mac. It's just not comfortable to use and why Apple even offers this is beyond me.

I was up to my normal typing speed on the Magic Keyboard in no time, and, as with most well-built keyboards, people will generally be able to adjust to the new feel without much trouble. But Apple could, in the future, introduce a vital interface element that requires a trackpad, forcing people to at least introduce a trackpad alongside a mouse and keyboard. I have many Apple products and this is the worse ever. Apple announced today its new Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad 2 and Magic Mouse 2. The Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard costs about the same as the Magic Keyboard, while including extra features like easy pairing of multiple devices, and backlit keys. Magic Mouse eat batteries for breakfast, I think because it has to use the sensor every time you move it around the table, so it dry up batteries fast. I've had nothing but good things to say about this keyboard and it's super lightweight! Just connect them to your Mac with a Lightning cable and you'll get a notification telling you that pairing was successful. Force Clicking is usually a way to access data quickly, though you could often already access this data in some other way. Once that goes away, the keys are the most satisfying I've found.
It is really up to what you want. The Magic Keyboard will automatically pair with your Mac. Why did I cancel my order? Bottom line If you want to use one keyboard with multiple devices, the Magic Keyboard should do the trick, but I had issues switching the pairing back and forth, while the Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard more than lived up to its name. The charging port is located conveniently on the back of the keyboard, and surprisingly, the first charge lasted me 2 months of heavy use 8-12 hours per day. I have had it a few years though so i get it, but I hate having to keep putting it back on to charge. It is just one wire.
