I've been trying to find a fix, but nothing will help. So I can open the smart gesture program to configure tick boxes. Un-install your touch pad driver — By right click on your touchpad's driver or press windows key + R key. I tried fn+f9 and mostly everything else but it just won't work. So I went on to download another one and still experienced the same problem. But no 3 finger gestures. Hope this can help you.
Hello everyone, I forgot to leave feedback on my issue. Do not even started Asus Smart Gesture no icon. All things were operational on my Asus X200ca after the 8. Anyone have an idea how to fix this? This was resolved by installing: 1. Everything should work fine from then on.
Once I carried out the above steps and the restarted my laptop again my touch pad was working again with Smart Gestures. Now I made a complete reinstall of Windows 10 and it is perfect. It may be a good idea to uninstall any existing hotkey drivers or software you have have had installed previously before installed the Windows 10 drivers. I explain how to do it. It took about 15 minutes all told what with the 4 restarts necessary. I can use the mouse with an external mouse, but not the touch pad. I have Asus Transformer book flip tp300ld. Suddenly I realized the touchpad scroll was not working, but the touchpad did work basic features. The first day I update to Win10, everything was working fine. Could it be that the touchpad is defective? It is crazy when typing if I tap the touch pad I wind up on another page and it is just crazy I would love to just use my buttons to tap and the two and three fingers scroll I hate it and is problematic for me.
I looked online for ways to help solve this issue with no success. I found that after the driver was uninstalled, and the computer restarted, the problem was fixed on my laptop.
