There are three types of audio buffer; a buffer on audio inputs, buffer on audio reading and buffer on audio outputs.

The faq might not fully reflect whether or not your is a known issue because I only included issues where the model name was given, accompanied by a solution or workaround. So after step 5, go back to the Device Manager and check again for a Realtek driver.

The laptops are grouped by screen size, and within the groups by model name. If a cable connection is loose, this could cause some sound problems. Disabling everything but Realtek still doesn't fix the problem. Iam really disappointed right now. I also went as far as to order and external sound card from amazon which seemed to just make the problem louder. That has the instructions for installing or updating. Not sure exactly of the details, but give it a shot.
