Two-Face and his cohorts are causing no end of trouble for Gotham City, and once again it's up to the Caped Crusader with a little help from players to throw a monkey wrench into their scheme. All the other characters are new, Nicole Kidman Dr. Taking on the role of either Batman or Robin, players must use a variety of attacks to beat the waves of enemies that attack them into submission. Featuring gameplay inspired by such classic arcade titles as Streets of Rage, Final Fight, and the original Street Fighter, Batman Forever attempts to inject a little graphic panache into a tried and true concept. But I really was surprised at how psychological of a movie Batman Forever is. I liked Burton's 2 films and obviously Batman Begins better than Forever, but when you're in the right mood for it, it really is a fantastic movie that, if nothing else, thoroughly entertains. In some ways you can look at this as a transition from the dark, tortured Batman to a Batman who has finally conquered his personal demons and gone on to be happier in being a man who fights crime in the night dressed up in rubber.
