I thought it was interesting, the idea of a person with a disorder where she takes on the personality of the character she reads about. Messages about not giving up and keeping hope alive are undercut when, although humans continue to survive for a few more generations, they're pretty much in the same situation they were in when the story began. As Abigail's connection with Jeremy verges on inappropriate levels of closeness, Melissa's jealousy will stop at nothing to sabotage Abigail -- even if it means concocting lies about her own relationship with Jeremy. What role do and play in the story? Which ones, if any, are healthy? The film follows two teen girls in a high school drama class. Maybe it was meant to be ambiguous? Yes, she's flawed and hateful, but there's a reason for her misplaced anger and jealousy.

There's plenty of action and adventure here, and viewers might want to check out the manga it's based to delve deeper into its world, if they haven't already. While holding the celebration, Cibo secretly wakes Killy up with only Zuru as a witness and leads him down towards the shield generator with the machine. He's not shown as a one-dimensional monster preying on a hapless schoolgirl. One girl moves her head in what appears to be oral sex. Blame radiates with a specific artistic vision and declares the arrival of a brand-new cinematic storyteller into the scene. I am so thrilled it's on Prime because I was waiting to watch it!
