The front speakers I ran off the stock head unit's amp because I was just interested really in the high's from the Kappa's. Know yours before you start, some come pregapped from the factory but I always recheck them using a gauge. I realize that going this way is a lot more work than what you're probably looking to do , im just giving you some more options. Yep, the covers pop off no problem in the rear. I run two sets of components, You of course will not need this.
. I only drive this car to and from work but I need music to wake me up in the mornings. I had luck at a Walmart where I found some Pioneer 4x10s Rear 4x10inch Front Left and Right Door 6. Is it literally just plug and play though?? Thinking back though, I believe if I buy the speakers from the local shop I usually goto they install them for free. If you have the brackets, just get em, its so easy.

If you're simply wanting to do a simple plug and play, better than stock setup. Riding a 116-inch wheelbase, its overall length is 198. I already have an aftermarket head unit so with four new speakers, especially adding two to the rear, should sound amazingly different. Check to see what the gap is for your type of plug. Wow, yeah that's quite a bit more than I was expecting.
Installation in my Silverado was harder than I thought it would be. Do I need new wires at all or will they just plug in?? Hell I don't need a freaking nice setup, I'd be happy with the cheapeast speakers installed and especially the two rear speakers actually working. I hear ya on using the same brand on all four. The rear fill term is used when some one throws lower guilty speakers in the rear just to have something back there to make noise, Not a good idea. The Tahoes cargo volume is 105 cubic feet with the middle and rear seats removed, but cargo space drops to 16 cubic feet with the optional rear seat in place. They sound amazing for what they are.

Pull out the handle bezel Remove the lock bezel Remove the screws Lift up on the door panel Disconnect the electrical connectors The rear door speakers are held in with screws To get to the subwoofer in the rear cargo area: Remove the third row seat if equipped Remove the third pillar trim where rear seat belt is Remove the rear garnish moulding where rear speakers are by pulling down carefully to release the clips. What is the purpose of the tweeters anyway? Hope this points you in the right direction. I put these in a 2013 f150 xlt. I don't know very much about it but I think they'll use a wiring harness adapter that plugs into your factory harness to hook to the aftermarket speakers.

It's a plug in replacement fix that takes about 30 minutes with no cables or connectors and you don't disconnect fuel lines. Decided to get these as they seems legit and the price was right. Be sure to have the socket securly on the plug, pr you could break the plug off.
