Jill says Melissa feels betrayed and is angry at Abby. Any time that Maddie and Chloe did a duet it placed first. She didn't stand a chance as a Junior with that choreography but came within tenths of a point of Kendall. Each will progress differently - but when there actually has been no teaching in at least the last 3 years - it's hard to progress. She says Nia scored 292.
But to me, she is the best out of all of them. Group dance - they did not give the proper face for that dance at all, and they needed eyeliner in their makeup. Holly thinks this is great since this is what the rest of them have to deal with this all the team. I happen to be one of those people who believe that this show is 90% scripted. The busted weaves, the fake nails that look fake and the excessive makeup - the only ones that look normal anymore are Jess for Jess and Holly.
I felt bad for Mackenzie having to do a dance that looked like it was designed for a six-year-old. We always hear at least something from her about the reputation her studio has, and her need for her dancers to win seems more and more like a need to use their talent for advertising her business. She's worse than Abby, in my opinion. Ok, so I have a slight issue with Holly. Melissa is livid and says she knows so much dirt on Abby.
One of her biggest complaints since day one has been the typecasting of Nia. The fact that no one from any sort of Child Protect services has never investigated this woman amazes me. In this day and age, it seems it would be irresponsible of me and any other viewers out there to not speak up. The girls now prep for the group number. Or unless she has serious self-esteem issues, in which case, Jill is terrible for putting her on this show where people will constantly dissect her looks. I find it annoying that Abby wants to constantly compare her to Maddie. The dance aspect is what initially caught my attention.
Find out which dancers competed solos. I've watched this show from the start and Abby Lee Miller has always been something of a tutelage monster, but a line got crossed in the April 9th 2013 episode where she pitted Maddie and Chloe against each other in solo dances. Jill says they need to talk about this and asks if they saw the news on Good Morning American. But I also enjoy when Melissa gets all wigged out and twitchy. The idea about Dance Moms are the mothers of the children at a Pittsburgh dance studio owned and taught by Abby Lee Miller. That explains Kendall's bright red face. I am from Canada and started at 4 years old doing tap, jazz, and ballet until I 20.
And it bothers her that she gets these comparisons all the time. Sorry if this has been repeated, this is my first post. She went out there and gave no face at all, just the pretty smile. Created by Collins Avenue Productions, it is set in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the Abby Lee Dance Company, and follows children's early careers in dance show business, and their mothers. Also, Kendall has cried 2 episodes in a row.
Fair play to Mackenzie for saying she thinks her dances are too young, I'm always thinking that! The toddlers might at least be too young to understand or care about all the sexualization they receive. I could never, ever, ever place more importance on one than the other. Jojo stands out because of her personality - like Nia - Kalani stands out due to her prettiness and pleasant personality. Melissa is a suck up, the queen suck up. Omg, she dropped Melissa so fast when there was a slight opening as Abby's bff.
One can only laugh at the supreme irony of Melissa now going to the mat for Mac when prior to this she routinely threw her under the bus in favor of Maddie, the perfect snowflake child. They watch the group rehearsal and see Abby scratching her nose. Kendall fell -- and again, it was a surprise that she didn't feel Abby's wrath for that, especially after refusing to wear makeup and coming in 3rd. Abby reminds them they will be critiqued so they need to be amazing. While I dont really have any issue with anything she said last night, and if Abby does, she can have a seat because she created the monster in my opinion, with a little help from Melissa. Abby gets what she wants, why does she keep attacking Chloe? The adults are appalling and the teacher as well. I was in the Nutcracker I had to compete against a lot of girls throughout my province and danced it for 6 years straight.
Edited January 13, 2016 by cali1981 My thoughts - good god that pancake make-up on Melissa was thick and I could still see her bad skin and wrinkles. Melissa says the moms yelled at her for not sticking up for Mackenzie so she tried it and now Abby is yelling at her. I thought the make up was fine, I'm sure there was a reason. I understand her frustration with Abby, but Holly clutches her pearls and then sits back and let's Abby continue with the Tootie comments, Laqueefa, dogs, rants about terrible feet, trying to degrade Holly's education and job as an educator, etc. She essentially sold Abby up the river because that makes her sound really guilty.
