The fate of the world rests on the Antichrist, who just … David Tennant joined his eldest son Ty at the premiere of his debut movie, Tolkien, in London this evening. Louie actually gets up and does something about his cowardice. Dijon is captured and scolded by Poupon, who warns him that they must go to Duckburg to get the goose back or else the world could end. Inside, the boys are given an eccentric introduction from Fethry. Good brother bonding between Huey and Dewey and not just agreeing to blame Louie.
David Tennant is only appearing on Sunday 19th May. Glad Huey got over his embarrassment to appreciate the weird greatness Fethry is. Again, I cannot help but smile at how Fethry's calls are something even Scrooge ignores because he thinks they are just an invitation to trouble. Fethry also reveals he isn't a scientist but the lab's caretaker, prompting Huey calling Fethry out for wasting their time, crushing Fethry's spirits. It's all the more interesting considering that since the boys had no idea as to who he was, it has to have been at least ten years since he had even seen Donald. Maybe it works better as a small gag, but the more they do it, the more I'll beg for an expanded adventure. And blaming him for this chain of events shouldn't be so hard.
Considering Don Rosa just slotted him in there to fulfill a requirement set to him by Disney and that the creators of Fethry and Whitwater are two different people I would not put much stock in this being actually the case. Good Omens is a dark, comedic story set in modern day Britain on the brink of the Apocalypse. In fact, how does that even work?! When a fussy angel, Aziraphale Michael Sheen and a suave demon, Crowley David Tennant get wind of the coming of the Antichrist, they join forces to prevent the loss of their comfortable lifestyle on Earth. The show also stars Michael McKean, Jack Whitehall, Adria Arjona, Mireille Enos, Nick Offerman and Nina Sosanya. Gladstone does too, but he's too self-absorbed to really act on him.
The goose begins flying around Duckburg turning everything in its sight to gold while works on a solution to restore the nephews to normal. The second season of Disney's DuckTales continues on Disney Channel today with a brand new episode, The Depths Of Cousin Fethry! Behind the scenes Fethry's Team appear in the episode. I love how the brothers all interact in different ways and have different dynamics. That might have put a bit of a damper on the whole 'family is everything' vibe. The Beagles attempt to wrestle the goose away from Dijon, and chase him through the city before he drops the goose into one of Scrooge's cargo boxes. Fethry bids farewell to the boys and departs with Mitzy to become a scientist.
Huey turned out to be right about Fethry at the climax of the episode, but it was still true that Fethry was not the genius Huey thought he was. The reveal about Fethry not really being a scientist but also not being the complete dunce he appears to be is cleverly foreshadowed. As someone without a deep Donald comics background, I didn't know what to expect with Fethry, but he was an interesting one. Tom Kenny was a terrific choice to voice him and he did the character justice. After pitching up his tent, he captures Bigfoot. Even with his voice, he hits the deadpan moments perfectly.
Plus, what's with the tin can? The group arrives outside the lab—a lighthouse—where Fethry is in the observation deck waiting. Suddenly, the goose enters its last transformation, which is the Golden Death. Glomgold attempts to buy the Golden Goose from Scrooge. Scrooge and Launchpad see Dijon running from the gold below them, and they snatch Dijon and the goose aboard their plane. Toss in Huey's frustration over Gizmoduck selling out, and Huey being the one who ripped Dewey a new one in Castle McDuck and it seems Huey really loathes feeling betrayed. The Golden Death spreads all over Duckburg.
He thinks he's Donald's favorite cousin, and if we're gonna have to choose between Gladstone and Fethry? He wasn't in this episode. Synopsis Part 1 , , are in Barkladesh looking to take items back to Duckburg that can be sold at Scrooge's new department store. Scrooge then goes crazy and turns many of his household items into gold while Glomgold and the Beagles watch in the window. Avoid placing spoilers in the title and mark your spoilers when necessary. Dijon has the goose in his grasp, but Glomgold drops some spare change.
The goose flies away again before Scrooge, Poupon, and Launchpad can catch it, and our trio has to flee from the rapidly spreading gold. Speaking of which, Huey being the main focus of this episode was a great choice. Hopefully, when he returns with Mitzi he'll be an actual scientist and a good one at that! When she finds it, she discovers that Dewey ate all the chocolate chip cookies, and left only one of oatmeal raisin flavor. Glomgold decides to send the Beagle Boys to Scrooge's mansion later that night so they can steal the goose away. Fethry reveals his discovery: rainbow lights that he can observe from his window. Scrooge and the boys head back to Duckburg in their plane, unaware they have the Golden Goose. Fethry has the aqua-vator stop at the Tully Observatory for repairs, but the group is ambushed by giant sea worms mutated by the hydrothermal vents.
Right as Huey and Dewey prepare to leave, the rainbow lights are revealed to be emitting from a gigantic monster. Throw in a medley of unforgettable characters, some infernal riders, a host of angels, a legion of demons and a gang of unruly kids, and the end of the world will never be funnier! Fethry definitely shows why Scrooge and Donald want nothing to do with him throughout the episode. David Tennant returns as adventuring trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, along with Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan as his mischief-making nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie. As an added divine treat, complimentary food will be available while supplies last, from your favourite heavenly goodies to the most delightfully devilish treats, complimentary concessions, and cash beer and wine bars. Scrooge promptly has Glomgold kicked out of the store and returns home with the goose. Something cuts the cable of the aqua-vator and the group is forced to go the rest of the way scuba diving.
