There are two sides of the harness connection to the air suspension control module. There are adjustment solenoids on the body but you need someone qualified to repair this. It may be dry and cracked. He stated that something was wrong before because it doesn't make the noise now. I'll let you know if this corrects the problem. We took the transmission to have it flushed and then started experiencing increased problems almost immediately after having it flushed. You might try checking that and if needed add something to isolate the pump better. If nothing was wrong with it, then why is it silent now when the suspension systems activates. Eventually, the pump will be unable to raise the car to the required height working against the leak within the time-out period about a minute and then it will give up, stop pumping, and a light on the dash will come on indicating an air suspension problem or maybe on your relatively newer car, the digital dash may show an error message - I don't know.
We have an extended warranty on our Expedition so we took it to germain Ford in columbus, Ohio. It also will get tension when the steering is turned.
