The glow plugs are working and the truck starts fine unless it gets too cold then you have to plug it in. All of the gauges work and are in excellent condition. The undercarriage of this truck is very clean and solid with only minorsurface rust on the frame and suspension components. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch engages as it should. The rear fuel tank was leaking so I replaced that with a new one. I would add I believethe majority of the repairs were necessarybecausethis truck sat for so long. The carpets are also in excellent condition without any tears or extensive wear.

I was looking for a good tow rig for my enclosed trailer and these trucks have a good reputation for power and fuel economy. What you see is what you get - all body panels and paint are original except for the white roof which we had painted due to sun fading no dents. The new pumpis the step up unit, offering a small bump in power output without the need to increase injector size.
After driving a hour and a half I was told that even if inspection turned up problems the price would not change. Then I found the injection pump had failed. The fuel gauge works and so does the tank switcher. This information should have been related before I came to see the car. The first was a broken shifter shaft.
