Frosty is voiced by , best known as the voice of on. Hocus hops off to get Santa, but Hinkle then confronts Frosty and Karen once more and blows out Karen's campfire. On the way, Arthur battles the Black Knight who, despite having had all his limbs chopped off, insists he can still fight. Sure he wears cowboy garb on stage and he speaks with a Texas accent, but his comedy touches people of all cultures. He then opens the greenhouse door, letting in a gust of wind, reviving Frosty. But the trio is determined to turn their pain into gain. Hocus suggests the and the , before suggesting.
Tom Kenny also plays a role in this film. Realizing that newly-living Frosty will melt in spring unless he takes refuge in a colder climate, Frosty and Karen, a young girl who he befriends, stow away on a freight train headed for the north pole. Will she win her family back, or drive them farther away? Despite having no money for tickets, Frosty and Karen a refrigerated boxcar on a northbound train, with Karen expecting to be home before dinner that night.
In the end, good wins out, and all the citizens of Evergreen happily learn that magic is real and fun is for everyone! Fearing she might be losing her family for good, she enrolls determined to save her family. Frosty and Karen again flee, this time with Karen riding on Frosty's back as he belly-whops down the hill. Brick is besieged by an onslaught of curious kids, angry gang members, and his own doll-sized enemies, and he must protect the family who has helped him and get off the planet alive. But Santa explains that Frosty cannot melt away because he is made of Christmas snow and will always come back every winter. Little do they know that the magician is following them, and he wants his hat back! Frosty will melt or no longer be a jolly soul, if the kids cannot get him away from Hinkle and warm weather, so he hops a train to the North Pole with young Karen. As the special takes place in the late winter, it makes no mention of Christmas the original song likewise did not mention Christmas. This is the only other Frosty cartoon to mention Christmas or Santa Claus in addition to the 1969 original.
But after noticing the high hot temperature and fearing that he would melt, Frosty, along with young girl named Karen and a rabbit named Hocus Pocus, must go to the North Pole to be safe from melting. It featured the of comedians as the film's narrator Durante's final performance in a film , as Professor Hinkle the Magician, and as Frosty. Despite Karen's objections, Frosty steps inside the warm greenhouse with her, suggesting that he could afford to lose a little weight while she warms up. Tinkerton's sons, Charlie and Tommy, along with their friends Sarah and Walter, want to spread the word about Frosty's fun-loving, magical antics but meet resistance from Evergreen Elementary's dastardly principal Hank Pankley. Hinkle clings to the undercarriage of the of the same train, still demanding his hat back. Hocus leads Santa to the greenhouse, only to find Karen crying over a melted Frosty. Frosty agrees, and promptly takes credit for the idea himself much to Hocus' annoyance.
Now, in his first one-hour special, the man they call, Cowboy Bill returns home to talk about love, the frailty of life and the magnitude of being a modern man. Now the leader of the pack will do anything to keep the accident a secret. The characters, setting, voices and animation by are vastly different. The special was based on the and song. The special's story follows a group of school children who build a snowman called Frosty and place a magic hat on his head, which makes him come to life with enchanted power.
Though regular sized on his home planet, he is doll-sized here on Earth, as are the enemy forces who have landed as well. The special also airs on in some territories. This film features Frosty and his family as supporting characters. A discarded silk top-hat becomes the focus of a struggle between a washed-up stage magician and a group of schoolchildren, after it magically brings a snowman to life. Hocus brings the hat back to the children, who put it back on Frosty's head, bringing him back to life; the children all celebrate. Mr Tinkerton, the mayor, runs a tight ship, and there's no room for talk of magic or any other such nonsense.
Jackie Vernon once again reprised his role as the voice of Frosty. Little do they know that the magician is following them, and he wants his hat back. When Hinkle sees this, he takes the hat back after a gust of wind blows it off Frosty's head. But, when Frosty the Snowman blows through town, he shows the town's children that magic is real. When Hinkle arrives, he locks the door of the greenhouse, trapping Frosty inside.
They come up with a cleverly devious plan to hit their exes where it really hurts — in the wallet! A discarded magic top hat brings to life the snowman that a group of children made, until a magician, professor Hinkle, wants it back, and the temperature starts to rise. After failing his first trick, he throws his hat away. Narration is provided by Durante had suffered a stroke that had forced his retirement in 1972 and eventually killed him. As the train continues northward and night falls, Karen is getting colder, so they disembark in search of something to keep her warm. After Hinkle runs home to write his apologies, Santa then brings Frosty back to life and takes Karen home and Frosty to the North Pole, with Santa and Frosty promising to return the following Christmas. The children suggest putting him on the next train to the , where he will never melt, and they all parade into the city on the way to the train station, shocking several townspeople, including the traffic cop who was so shocked that he swallows his whistle.
