Simply unplugged the fuse, noticed it was still good, and plugged the same fuse 10A back in and all the gauges started working again. The microprocessor inside the instrument cluster determines where the speedometer needle points , just like the fuel gauge , tachometer etc. This time it has stopped completely. Next up you'll need to remove the clear plastic lens. I would like to know can I fix this myself or is it better to take this to an auto repair shop? It is a safety hazard because it works sometimes but is way off under the real speed. The dealership has been nothing but a source of frustration and a waste of my time.
