Remember, when changing from one transmission to the other that the rear-end ratio is going to make a difference. No longer have to worry about missing that gear any more. It will work with the EcoBoost four, the six, and the V8, and it'll do the same job as the 11 to 14 version did, only we've included some of the changes that we're making in the Rev 2 that will include an isolated mount so to get rid of the vibration issues. This is a new addition to the T-56 Magnum line-up designed exclusively for 2005-up Ford Mustangs! Grinding or notchy gear shifts may be caused by gradual loosening of clutch plate fasteners, which is promoted by certain aggressive shifting. It took a little more time than in the video, but it went in without problems. Not all of them, though. Certain shifters have had issues with noise being generated through this bracket and so what we've done is the clamp that goes around the shifter box is now isolated.

Maybe it's just my tranny but I still have a slight issue if I snatch to 4th fast under a load it will grind, but if I wait a half a second instead of just snatching it goes right in with no problem? Steve: To make it a little easier to get the lower clamp installed, take a little grease around the pins and that will ease it. Furthermore, the skip-shift feature a feature that forced a 1-4 shift at low speed versus a traditional 1-2 shift was eliminated in 2013, and should remain this way for the S550. It's a known issue with Ford. Typically, these bushing inserts are constructed from a synthetic rubber that doesn't fail, like the stock rubber bushing. At least the T 56 will give me piece of mind that the gearbox will keep me company for years to come with out long layups.
The Chinese company builds it to the specs it was designed to. After installation was completed, I took the car out for a test drive and experienced smoother shifting, the gear stays in its psoition with no room for play. Bill: Okay, and the installation on this product pretty much similar to the old one if you've done a Blowfish bracket in the past, the 15's kind of similar. So, what do you now? Bill: Okay, so where the 11 through 14, that gap was very important. The is the perfect all-around clutch for daily driving as well as track use! Other than the car names of the models you usually see, you might not know that much about cars. I hope Ford is still listening and wants to resolve these problems. Personally I am looking forward to the Tremec replacement. It is a whole other thing - not at all subtle. An , who has been making shifters since before the Mustang was in production, will make your shifts feel like an extension of yourself and reduce the distance in between each shift! Finally a no-compromises short throw shifter that can not only handle the toughest rigors of competition racing, but also posses excellent street manners for your daily driver. This shaves at least 30 minutes off the install time and is great whether you're doing it at home or having it done at a performance shop. The barton shifter bracket let's you shift in turns and doesn't make you miss shift like the stock bracket does.
Installed the Blowfish bracket yesterday. Steve: Yep, and try to get the. It will warm the shifter a little since it sits about an inch above the exhaust, but that might come in handy in winter lol. You have more firmer shifts than you would with the oem shifter bracket. One major difference the driver will notice, aside from the shifting, is the gear ratios between the Getrag and T56 Magnum. Eliminate that sloppy stock feeling and enjoy smoother, crisper shifts when you're banging through the gears with a Barton Industries Two Post Shifter Bracket. As mentioned earlier, the stock Mustang is made from a plastic material that can fail when your Mustang is being pushed.
