After a certain number of cycles without sensing a problem, it will reset the systems. First check your voltages, rangerovers. No spilled drinks, liquids, water etc. I've had it since Friday with no issues. Sounds like a bad ride to me. At some point I will need a new battery, so I will await and see if it still does it.
Now, if you have a drain on your battery. Look up Arnott Industires Posted on Jun 15, 2009 I just had a similar problem, husband disconnected the battery and when he started the car the brake light, abs, traction control lights were on and air suspension inactive message came on. As a child I used to build model kits, the wife now reckons I've just gone 1:1 scale. This morning I turn it on and The error is back. Believe me, all your problems will go away.
I had the coolant flushed and replaced. All the warning lights will go out. Will keep you posted, thanks again. I can drive about 10-15 miles and bing bong I get the three lights on my dash. Most common failure is the passenger front air strut, since batteries are prone to leaking acid, it leaks right on top of the rubber airbag and burns through it. I've been having the same problem as you.
Also, if anyone is a member of land rover forums. I have the same problem. Yorks and the Rangie just coped perfectly with the snowy conditions. Appreciate any tips on this as changing a battery every 6 months is a pain. Apr 08, 2013 it could be from many reasons.
!! I had the 6 months old battery disconnected for two weeks when I was on vacation because when I leave it connected, it is dead when I come back I put this down to the fact that the workshop which services it has put in a permanent feed to the ignition switch to overcome the fact that it won't release otherwise because of a problem with the steering lock electronic unit - which apparently they don't make any more for the L322. Dealer willcharge you one hour to diagnose, or you can easily diagnose this by looking at the ride height of each particular corner of the truck. Since the system is run with rubber bags, the cold air causes them to shrink, thereby compromising the seals' integrity. Therefore, use of switch 2 on a gentle slope may not increase the speed. They did the diagnostic test and determined the compressor is shot. I just had this problem too.
Has anyone else had a problem like this, and what was their solution? Battery is quite old and was let go flat for a month a couple of years ago, so maybe it has passed its prime 6 year old. Also when i have t music up really loud i notice tat my dash lights n the message board display lights flicker to t beat of t music when its up really loud. It only happens on initial first start up, if I switch off and re-start no error message. I have the compressor replaced and it went away. I picked it up this morning. Other than the error lights, the car and suspension is behaving normally, regulating the height as required and the suspension is level and all ride heights are achievable. Regards Ed Check the battery even though it is 6 months old.
When a forward gear is next selected, the new target speed is reinstated. They also say I need front brakes. We had same proplem, remove fuse to air suspension with engine off and key removed, the fuse islocated on right hand boot compartment clean it then replace, startup then drive. Note: The white needle indicates the current vehicle speed. If its sits low, or emits hissing sound when you park the truck, its leaking. A few days later the temp dropped again and there was hesitation in starting.
Same thing all winter on my 03range air sus inactive, abs, brake, hdc christmas lights!! It drove down the street, then had wouldn't start and had to be towed. First try to disconnect the battery, wait several minutes reconnect then drive car making at least on full circle. The message activates as soon as she fires up and goes out straight away. A few hours later I had the green light really. I'm hoping it something easy like replacing the brake stop lamp switch.
Mine has been giving me that message for the last year or two. Whilst air suspension still on all the time. Cause: Low batter voltage during engine cranking triggers the message display. They have to rebuild the front differential. Obviously it has something to do with the suspension system. Kind regards, Mark 18th Jan 2014 7:29pm. All the warning lights will go out.
Look up Arnott Industires Dec 29, 2008. I will keep you posted. Started fine one evening, then the next morning, cranked slowly - started, but threw every error message known to man. Hopefully, when all is reconnected, I may have the solutions. Starts first time with no hesitation though. I put it down to the fact that I had a portable fridge plugged in when I turned the car over to go to the show.
