It matter whether cold mornings or hot days it would happen intermittently. You will sleep deeper and wake up fresher. Hi all, Wonder if you can help, a couple of times i have had a warning bleep and information warning come on the dash. Actually, I believe that is a general transmission or suspension fault. The battery is less than 1 year old. They did the diagnostic test and determined the compressor is shot. Obviously it has something to do with the suspension system.
. We had same proplem, remove fuse to air suspension with engine off and key removed, the fuse islocated on right hand boot compartment clean it then replace, startup then drive. . We were considering a used Audi Q5. Also the message for 35 mph is coming on. First and last time I take my car there for a service!!! I have an 07 truck I paid much less for and haven't had to put a dime in it other than the oil changes.
It finally got worse last month on my Birthday of all days. I have an 07 truck I paid much less for and haven't had to put a dime in it other than the oil changes. I did a search and found bits and pieces, but nothing substantial. This completely solved our problem and never returned. Anyone please help I have the same problem. Not enough rear leg room for our kids or space in the way-back for our dog.
Let me know if anyone has further questions. I thought that I was buying quality, but was wrong. You could physically get hold of the neck and shake it up and down by 4-5 mm! It is a beautiful ride. Glad to hear it just isn't me. I think the positioning of those buttons is a huge design flaw, but that's for another thread. Ended up driving the car on lowered suspension.
Also when i have t music up really loud i notice tat my dash lights n the message board display lights flicker to t beat of t music when its up really loud. Now, for the third time on vacation with my family, some type of gas hissed out front the left front side of the vehicle which is now leaning heavily over the front tire and is not drivable. Evidentally if there is not enough voltage from the battery these tests cannot be performed properly and a fault will be triggered. I took the vehicle to a dealer and was informed it was a common problem particularly when the vehicle is started from cold and more so during cold weather. I have and still do occasionally get the same message. I go to Ole Miss and i had my car in the dorm parking lot. Reading the posts other members regarding this problem, the most common issue looked to be low battery voltage triggering these faults.
The reason behind this innovation is that the Freelander does not have common low gears utilized by more 4×4 vehicles. This puts stress on the emissions system. It cost me about 400 bucks! If you keep driving with leaky air strut, you risk burning up the air compressor, as its working extra hard to compensate for the leak. Still runs and drives fine, just low. A six-speed automatic with manual shift gate was the sole transmission.
Going to take it into the shop early next week. My warranty has now ran out and Land Rover want £1200 to extend it somehow i don't think i will be extending it. Also, I've had a very similar problem and thought I would share the outcome with you. Later models have a modified loom to cure the problem. Told them about this issue as well, they said they cleared the codes and replaced some parts.
Adaptive cruise control was available for the Supercharged edition. Both engines were sourced from Jaguar, which was owned by Land Rover's parent company, Ford. So I thought to myself, well I've owned the car now for a little over 4years now and never checked the battery life so it might also be the problem I'm having with these faults. This warning only appears after the car has not been used for a few days. Later models have a modified loom to cure the problem.
