Nice one thanks for the reply's fellas. Fair enough, Rob - point taken. Today Indy Oil's 80W90 Hypoid Gear oil did the trick for me. Replace the washer on the fill plug, reinstall and tighten it. Back to the gearbox and Transfer case. Changed my transfer oil and rear diff today after having my transmition serviced yesterday thought it would be a good idea to have a look.
Front install kits are also not available from the common aftermarket. I know this is a old topic but anyhows. Take your old oil and filter to a recycling facility. Moral if the story, use a small screw driver and clean the insides of this plug of crap that may be there before lossening it. I do not want to get involved in those discussions.
