Acceration and fuel economy compares to a 2ltr 4 cyl of the same era, so perhaps they might have been better going with this. Kinda boring being automatic but it's still good. They are also very cheap to buy, so if your looking for something sporty and fun for not much cash, look into one of these little gems! I'd rather have a 1800 cc tough, much faster. In Love — It's a very atrractive car, looks and behaves very sportive but is payable too. Direct steering, perfect control on the road, very little understeer. I have great fun in mine.
. Primary Use: Commuting to work I Am Loving It ; — Great acceleration and handling. Mazda fitted these cars with trapezoidal linkage to the rear wheels meaning that they turn slighty when turning thus helping cornering. I own one for about 6 years now. This Car Is Lower Then The Bottom Line! Works great, with 1600 cc engine. It handles like a little go-kart esp if all suspension, wheel bearings and steering rack is all sound, mine is a bit worn and sloppy now but still fun! Biggest downside is that they dont' make them anymore, if they would I would buy a new one immediately! Being front wheel drive you do get some understeer and pushing wide but it's just learning what the car is like and adjusting your driving to suit.
