On the Wii I found myself over turning or turning when I didn't mean to on a regular basis. Metroid Prime 3 uses a new control system using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, allowing free aiming and movement similar to mouse and keyboard controls. Based on the breakthrough control system that debuted in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, these new Wii controls bring an entirely new level of immersion and freedom to these milestone games. The Ishiiruka branch has generally been considered the best version to play on as it eliminated a bunch of microstutters that were present in the main version of Dolphin for a long time. As far as independant shaking goes the one that comes to mind is the FarCry for the Wii there the nunchuck swing is grenade. Feel free to experiment with the settings.
The nunchuck swing can be done with a d-pad input. You can set control options either in-game in the pause menu or on the main menu before starting up any of the games. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube and elsewhere for doing that. Still has Wii Remote control lag issues. The map in Dark Aether is smooth, probably because it's smaller. It came back later but just restarting Dolphin fixed it.
For reference, mp3 plays way better with lock on free aim on, while mp1 and mp2 play much better with it off, because mp1 and mp2 and aren't designed to really require a aiming outside of lock on. I am running a 6700K with a Titan X Pascal but at 1440p these games run like an absolute dream. I was fed up with spin-jumping to my death that I fired it up in Dolphin and finished it there. Being ignorant of the rules nor disagreeing with them is not an excuse. That actually makes a whole lot of sense to replicate the Wii remote + chuck feeling. It slows to 20fps and the sound stutter is particularly grating.
It takes a pretty hefty computer. But I'd have to say if you didn't even give it a try judging from your general attitude and your inb4, im assuming this is the case you're being dumb. Playing the game, for me, felt great and never once did I encounter any control issues. Prime 2 gets as far as some sort of menu but it's impossible to input using Wii Remotes. I even added a bit of gyro just for that sharpening up of the aim.

I thought Metroid Prime 3 controlled pretty well though, for a console first person game. On the right side, under Options, check Background Input.
