The timing is the only thing that I can think of, but it's a mystery to me why it would run then, and not now. I pulled the plug and it has nice, large blue fire and plenty of compression by putting my finger over the plug hole. Locate the oil drain plug on the bottom of the engine. I have to kick start that bad boy tell my leg goes out. I have had to replace the wire for the starter but now when I try to start it it wont idle at all and when it does run it smokes really bad like a whitish blue I guess, and it likes to stall a lot. Wear items such as bearings, bushings, light bulbs, brake pads, tires, etc. Hardware such as bolts, nuts, washers, screws, etc. Put on all new cable and plunger and she is running 100% again. When we first got it, it would run fairly good, but not 100%.

The quad had a bad leak from the carb overflow which indicated that the float needle valve was blocked or passing so I replaced this and put everything back together. I dont have the clearences on me but can get em before the end of the night. What I can't figure out is why this thing won't run when being bottle fed?? The quad ran really well until I took it onto some rough ground to have a ride around, a few hours later the engine started to run really rough as if the engine was flooding. It is recommended that you replacee the cir-clip with a new one upon reassembly. These are great machines, but even the best wear down over time. Engine now runs fine again but fuel has started to run out the carb overflow again.
