So they looked into LaRue and found out that he had just come back to New Orleans after Medical school when he died, but finding out he had gone to medical school had put the pieces together for Pride.

They've both been seeing other people, so apparently, they've moved on from what never was. From the looks of it, there are new episodes scheduled for the next two weeks, too, so that doesn't make sense either. Shortly thereafter, the team arrives. I had initially hoped it was a set up, since it appeared that the killer was following the team, and LaSalle was going to jump out once he confessed to Percy. I also liked the story. I don't really see a difference between a Halloween episode going up against baseball or a regular episode.
So much for built up chemistry between the two. Did I just accidentally doze off and miss that? Most heard about the Confederate sailor and how his death had remained a mystery. This also made me cringe. Supporting them is coroner Dr. And didn't he have that girlfriend show up in like the last episode of last season? But let's face it, they probably don't know either. Gregorio gets spooked by the experience. Maybe, if circumstances allow, Otis could become one of those characters who recur a couple of times a year.

But I guess that would have been more logical then them not realizing the killer was following them along the same trail Anderson took.
