Sounds like the same noise I am having. Resurfacing the rotor to restore the faces will usually eliminate the pulsation unless the rotor is bent or is badly worn and has started to collapse in which case the rotor must be replaced. However, it also locks itself if left parked and running with the doors are shut - not by design. Rear-ends should not go out this easily. It drove perfectly fine the day before. But, rain is still getting in through the hood and making the belt wet enough to slip off when I start the car, on occasion.
