It just will make those users turn to other browsers to support the sites that are need for their jobs and ect. Does Joe Soap in the office care about security? They do this for Commercial reasons as well as the cudos. It's bad enough that some sites only work with this browser or that. That policy will soon change. Java, Adobe and others utilize it and sites are built around it that have extensive web applications. No they don't they want the page to open as fast as it can so they can do what they need to do. Then maybe a browser company Firefox or Chrome can then say its no longer being made and we are dropping support for it.
Flash is not affected by the move in Chrome as Google is maintaining a custom version of Flash called Pepper Flash that uses a new plugin framework specific to the browser. Development world seems to have some standards and at other times they do what they want. Now if theres a internal site, for say a hospital and that site doesn't work, well who's fault is that? Google published usage information of popular plugins and all are on the decline. Due to this invention, the surveillance system has become more reliable and secure. Big business doesn't care about the end user as much as we like to think they do. It just is frustrating and hard to support and dumb tickets to get I feel like.
