Automatic transmission shifts fine, all gears work. . Fuel level reading is not reliable or accurate. It is also a non-turbo engine. Fuel reading for rear tank works just fine.
Paint is faded and has scuffs and scrapes here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 23-year-old truck. Truck runs fine otherwise and other than extended cranking needed at initial start up, truck always starts up immediately and runs great. I just always used the front tank first and went by mileage, then shifted to rear tank. Other times, it just cranks for awhile before starting. This seems to be a common issue with the 7.
When the engine is cold, truck takes a little while to start. The truck does have a few issues: 1. That wasn't offered until 1995. The bed has two small areas that appear to have had patches welded in. Rear exhaust pipe hanger needs to be replaced. Either way, it always starts.
Doesn't affect use of the bed, however, they do have small rusted areas. Truck is in good shape, runs well and has been a reliable truck. It cranks for a while before starting. The truck is clean and mechanically sound. It looks as if the truck may have had a fifth wheel hitch at one time, as there appears to be mounting points for it in the bed.
Odometer reading is 121,000 miles and some change. No body damage, just scuffs and white streaks. Brand new master cylinder has been installed, all routine maintenance has been kept up with as long as I've had it and seems to have been by the previous owner. Afterward, it cranks for awhile before starting. Rust around both rear fender areas. Sending unit for the front fuel tank needs to be replaced. .
