The last couple of bolts will have to be remover with one hand while you hold the pan up with the other. I've been using this technique for 14 years with excellent results. However, any well equipped transmission shop can service late model Ford transmissions, and usually for a lot less than the dealers charge. Keep in mind that there may not be a drain plug on your model so the pan will be full of fluid when removed. If you can turn a wrench, have a torque wrench pan bolts you can do the job. Im changing the trans fluid and filter on my E250 Ford Van. Once you remove those, if fluid flows out a bit, the level is fine, if none comes out you can stick ur finger in there to see if it gets wet, if not you have to pump transmission fluid into that hole until some fluid starts to come out.
