Our contract with our supplier requires us to offer a 5 year warranty on our Roll Up Pickup Truck Bed Covers, which of course we do. Very simple to install, having a stepwise idiot proof video was what convinced me. The fit is very good and quality seems good too. The Tacomas with rail and tie down cleats don't use clamps-you must remove the rail and bolt the covers' rails in behind them. The kit included a small wire to guide the bold trough the post hole and into the bed. Low profile design, locking mechanism, when tailgate is closed is very nice.
Attractive, low profile design provides a sleek addition to your 2005 Ford F-150. I look forward to many years with my new cover. I was very impressed to this level of detail in providing this little tool that made the install a breeze. All the hardware is supplied and instructions included. I was looking at several brands of tonneau covers before deciding on this one. Strongly suggest that before you drive you take a soft brush to the cover to wipe off excess snow; so cars behind you don't get snow thrown on them. .
WeatherTech WeatherTech New Roll Up Pickup Truck Bed Cover Ford 2005 F-150 Roll Up Pickup Truck Bed Cover The custom-fit Roll Up Truck Bed Cover is made from a double-coated commercial grade reinforced vinyl and features a heavy duty water resistant design that protects cargo from tough weather. Tough nylon straps allows for it to be stored completely out of the way of cargo when open and prevent any scratching to occur on the cabin. The cover looks and operates great. Tried other brands but did not fit due to the factory installed bed rail protectors. The Roll Up Truck Bed Cover is water resistant, featuring front and rear seals that form a tight barrier between the truck and cover, as well as the hook and latch fastening side seals.
Pricing is a bit higher but it is well worth it! Received my cover a few days ago and installed this weekend. The Kit installed easily after watching the video and reading the instruction supplement. The product installation video definitely cut down on the installation process. The fact is they are made for us by an expert American company, to our specifications, right here in America. Nothing is absolutely secure if you wish to damage it but this keeps my tools and bed dry.
But we would really like to offer you our Lifetime Limited Warranty, like we do on everything else we sell. For my truck, the installed called for using a longer clamp that worked with the post hole in the side of the bed. Made from a textured, double-coated commercial grade reinforced vinyl that stays flexible in temperature extremes and 6000 Series aluminum black bars, bows and rails. It took me about 2 hours total by myself. You're a WeatherTech customer and that means a lot to us.
After owning a fiberglass tonneau on my last truck I decided to go this way to be able to utilize the bed more readily. Encountered high winds near lakeshore and crossing expansion bridges regularly, the cover held tightly. Took about half an hour after watching the video several times to make sure installation was correct. Several integrated support bars that rest within the side rails keep the cover strong and sturdy. It also includes a dual locking system that provides excellent security, designed to help reduce aerodynamic drag and increase gas mileage, making it the perfect addition to your pickup truck. This was an excellent fit for our truck. Installation is easy with no need to drill into the truck bed; uses a Tight-Bite clamp system.
Weather tech has a good reputation so I chose this out of many I looked at. The shipping was fast and order was placed entirely online. Snow and ice glide right off the cover. The reality is, if you, as our customer has an issue that would be covered under our 5 year warranty, after the 5 year warranty has expired, we are going to do everything in our power to help you out, and make you smile. Easy for hauling; the Roll Up Truck Bed Cover keeps cargo away from the elements when covered and stays out of the way for oversized cargo.
I kept my cover closed all winter and nothing got wet or inside the bed. Overall I am satisfied, I hope it holds up over time. I debated what type cover to get. I would like to commend weathertech on their installation design. . .
